Tampaknya lagu-lagu jaman dulu alis jadul tak lagi menjadi pilihan para orangtua ketika berdendang sambil meninabobokan anaknya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terbaru, banyak orangtua yang memilih lagu-lagu pop yang tengah hits menjadi pengantar tidur untuk sang buah hati. Banyak orangtua beralasan lagu jadul, seperti  ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’ sudah kuno dan liriknya yang dianggap konyol.

Setengah dari 2.000 orang tua yang disurvei bahkan mengaku anak-anak mereka lebih suka bernyanyi bersama sebelum tidur. Hampir delapan dari sepuluh orang tua juga bernyanyi untuk anak-anak mereka , dengan 64 persen dari mereka biasanya memilih musik-musik populer.
